Subscription tiers explained

Subscribing to The Michigan Hoof Beat supports the work we do and helps to pay board.

Premium subscribers ($100/year) get all digital newsletter content published by The Michigan Hoof Beat; all news, health content, product and service reviews, features, commentary, classifieds, etc.

We'll also send you sticker prototypes after your free trial ends (we're planning to sell stickers and other merch down the line; sticker prototypes are the stickers we print on home supplies while we're in the design phase).

Premium subscribers can also place one complementary classified ad per month. This is subject to space and email clipping parameters; if the newsletter is getting too large, complementary ads might not run or might appear only in the web version of the article (not in email inboxes).

Basic subscribers ($70/year as of 2026) get all the digital newsletter content published by The Michigan Hoof Beat.

Free users receive the classified ads and any equine health-related news that we publish. If we start doing sponsored content, it will go to all users.
